William Warner works as a financial adviser consultant, primarily serving retirees, families with special needs children, and divorcees, has 26 years of experience in the financial services field and has personally managed over $100mil in client assets. More specifically his focus is in five areas; tax management, asset management, risk management, estate planning and legacy planning. With a specialization in tax efficient income distribution and risk management.
Will’s credentials include a Master of Science in Financial Services degree from the Institute of Business and Finance San Diego CA., as well as the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS), Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designations, as well as the Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow.
He enjoys using an educational, collaborative, communication style that helps people plan for their future, and has been praised by both co-workers and clients alike for his attentiveness, honesty, integrity and in-depth analyses
Despite his demanding career in financial services, Will makes time to be involved with professional associations as well as community organizations. He is a member of the National Financial Planning Association and the International Association of Registered Financial Planners. He has also has volunteered for the St. Vincent’s Swim Across the Sound Cancer Charity, and has been featured on Channel 8 News Good Morning Connecticut as well as a guest Speaker on the John LaBarca’s radio show in Bridgeport CT.
Will lives in Killingworth Connecticut with his black lab Cady and is a stepfather to two fantastic young men. When Will is not working, he likes to compete in archery tournaments around New England and even qualified to compete in the World 3D archery competitions held in Pennsylvania.
