Mitch graduated with a BA in Economics from Columbia University where he played football and received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. He is an active member in his community coaching various Westport youth sports programs. He also serves meals and distributes clothing annually for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission during the Thanksgiving holiday season. He and his wife are the proud parents of three children.
Mitch has been a financial services professional for over 20 years with experience in institutional equity sales, investments and wealth management at global investment banks and mid-sized institutions. Over that time, he has guided clients in wealth planning, banking, and navigating changing financial landscapes creating bespoke solutions.
He began his career as a public finance banker at the investment bank Dean Witter. There he helped deliver infrastructure financing solutions for state and local municipalities through the issuance of bonds to build roads, bridges, airports and other public assets and to refinance existing debt. It was this experience where he first honed the skills, expertise and ability to provide wide ranging products and services to his clients.
Interested in the equity markets and delivering client solutions across multiple platforms, Mitch spent the majority of his career at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital in their institutional equity sales group. Specializing in small and mid-sized institutional clients, he worked to understand their investment needs in order to deliver equity research ideas enabling them to reach their goals.
He is dedicated to bringing the resources of Sentinel Asset Management to his clients to help them achieve their financial goals by understanding and prioritizing what is most important to the them and creating the best solutions to meet their needs today and in the future.
