Lynn Brainerd has 34 years’ experience in the education and technology fields.  Her passion is learning new programs and sharing that learning with others.  She also enjoys organization and process improvement.

Lynn earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She continued her personal development, by earning her Master’s in Special Education, which would serve her well in the coming years.

Lynn worked for State Education Resource Center (SERC) for 13 years.  She flourished in that position, working with multiple consultants, on multiple subjects.  She exceled at event’s planning and was an instrumental team member that developed their own event’s management program designed specifically for SERC.  While there, she was one of only two people to transition the company from stand alone computers, to a network of 5 servers.  She delighted in training the staff in how to use the various forms of technology that SERC was utilizing.

Lynn also spent 7 years working in the local school district, first teaching computers to Kindergarten through grade 4 as well as training all the staff. She was also accountable for the school website and the school inventory.  During her tenure in the school system, she was promoted to establish and implement the iPad program that grew to more than 900 iPads across 5 different schools.  When the district purchased Chromebooks, Lynn volunteered to organize and run that program as well.  Her analytical skills are exceptional, having the ability to solve problems, as well as to think concurrently about possible ramifications for the users.

Lynn lives with her husband, two children, one dog and many fish.  She has won many ribbons in the dog obedience ring with her dogs.  She occasionally volunteers at the local community dining room, serving families in need.  She has served on the local town association for several years and volunteered with the Girls Scouts.  She and her husband both enjoy old British cars and go to many shows to exhibit their family’s cars.  She enjoys traveling, reading, kayaking, walking, listening to music, meditation and yoga.
